Here is Alex Delarge's social worker/probation officer. For years, I'd watched this movie on pathetic VHS tape. Only when it made its way to DVD did I realize why he reacted the way he did when he drank from the glass on the table, as I could finally see clearly (as clear as an azure sky of deepest summer).

For some reason, Kubrick added a light reverb to the last few seconds of this scene, perhaps to signify Mr. Deltoid's realization of what he was drinking?
