Vodka is nice, but boring...incredibly boring. If you want some flavour and enjoyment when it comes to liquor I would recommend cognac. Never been much of a whisk(e)y man myself, but it can be very nice from time to time.

No mentioning of wine? You call yourself Italian?! Italy makes some incredible wine, my favourite being the nebiolo grape wines from the Piemonte district. The word 'barolo' makes me want to get a plane ticket right now...

Drinking is not a problem as long as it's about enjoyment, once it becomes part of your usual routine because you have to do it, it is a problem.
